Dry Mint Leaves

......and no dehydrator either!! Well, there is nothing like fresh mint leaves but sometimes some recipes call for dried ones, and they stay for long too. Dried mint leaves also taste great, so sprinkle them on soups, veggies, chicken, meat etc.....ok so how I did it..... without sunlight .....without dehydrator....well well well  I dried them in refrigerator!!!!......seriously I dried them in refrigerator!......just click here

1. Wash the leaves
2. Let them dry at room temperature
3. When the leaves are completely dry, put them in the refrigerator in an open bowl (don't cover the bowl) and forget about them for a day or two.
4. And the result, dry crisp leaves, ready to use!!!!

Cool, isn't it? :)

  2. Indeed, a very simple idea! We use mint to make tea it's good for stomach aches. I'll preserve the leaves this way too! Thanks for sharing!
