Melon Seeds Grilled Paneer with Mint-Curd Sauce

OMG! Time flew so fast and here we are welcoming another year! So ready for the Party!! Well here is  my little help for a quick and easy party snack for the New Year's Eve. Everybody loves cottage cheese (paneer) and it is very quick to cook as well. So save you time and effort with this Grilled party snack that tastes so good with the mint-curd. Well, may God give you strength to keep up your New Year's resolution(s) :P and also you cook the natural way!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!! See you next year :)!





You Need
750g cottage cheese (How to make homemade cottage cheese/paneer)
200g thick curd or yogurt (about 1 cup or more)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 inch long ginger (minced)
6 garlic cloves (minced)

For Coating
3/4 cup melon seeds
3 teaspoon dry mango powder (amchur)
2 teaspoon dried basil

For sauce
200g curd or yogurt
1/3 cup fresh mint leaves (lightly packed)
1 teaspoon sugar
salt to taste

Method
1. Cut cottage cheese (paneer) into desired shape. Sprinkle a little salt and keep aside.

2. Coarsely grind melon seeds using a grinder or by hands (if using grinder, just pulse 2-4 times). Mix in other coating ingredients. Spread it on a flat plate and keep aside.

3. Preheat the grill rack. In a bowl, mix paneer with curd, garlic-ginger paste, chilli powder and salt.

4. Coat each paneer pieces with the melon mix and grill till done.

5. For the Sauce, in a blender, blend together all the sauce ingredients.

6. Serve the grilled paneer with the sauce and enjoy!!
