Lemon Milk Shake

Milk, OMG!! our parents have tried hard to have us finish a glass of milk :D  and now we do the same with our kid(s). Milk is filled with essential vitamins and minerals, a super-source of calcium and protein. This recipe is quite easy and quick. Despite the "dairy-free" mania  these days, I still believe that a glass of milk is important for your health, but if you are following a dairy-free diet, you can substitute milk with almond milk.  So enjoy this drink with your kids (they love it) and serve to your guests, they will be surprised!! Get the recipe here

You need
2 cups cold milk or almond milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 tablespoon sugar
1 pinch salt
5 drops pineapple extract
1/2 teaspoon honey
ice cubes

Blend all the ingredients till sugar completely dissolves.
Serve immediately.



  1. Wow, really, we add lemon in milk to make paneer and we can make shake too.?

  2. I must try it! I always believed that lemon turns the milk into a kind of cheese (please, don't laugh at me) :)

  3. No need to laugh....actually it does make milk cheese but only if u boil it or keep it for long....that is why the recipe calls for serving immediately!.....:)
